Festival International de Jazz de Port-au-Prince

The Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival
Since 2007, in mid January every year, the Haiti Jazz Foundation hosts the Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival.

The Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival, a non-profit event, features an unprecedented cultural assembly to a local and international audience and is one of the best examples of successful partnerships between the international community via embassies of Belgium, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Mexico, Panama, Spain, Switzerland and the United States of America, the public sector through Haitian Ministry of Culture and Tourism and local private institutions and sponsors such as Prestige (Heineken), Rhum Barbancourt, Sogebank, Mercedes-Benz, Air France and Delta.

The Haiti Jazz Foundation manages the steering organization committee (Embassies, ministries, private sector representatives) in order to administrate the logistics for the bands, scheduling and booking of concerts and venues, as well a marketing and communications for the event.

Jamaica Jazz & Blues

Montego Bay is the second largest city in Jamaica. The city that is located on the North West side of the island holds a unique jazz and blues festival every year.

This is one of the most famous and leading events of the world. During the festival’s days, more than 30,000 enthusiastic music lovers reach the place to listen and watch the performances of jazz and blues artists and Jamaica’s most popular bands worldwide.

Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for accommodations, it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.

Reggae SumFest

It has been dubbed ‘The Greatest Reggae Show on Earth’ and for years, July has seen persons from home and abroad trek to Montego Bay, St James, for Reggae Sumfest, an experience like no other.
First held in 1993, Sumfest, over the years, presented patrons with three nights of live stage shows, namely, Dancehall Night and two international nights.

Dream Weekend

Dream Weekend is another signature event for partygoers in Jamaica. It is an annual week-long getaway headlined by Jamaica’s most popular events and fused with a high energy vibe like none other. This  international music festival takes over Negril at the height of the summer. The event series is staged during the Jamaican Independence holidays.

An average of 10 events take place during this period of Dream Weekend and these are held on the white sand beach of Negril. Tickets and pre-events are available in Florida, NY – Queens, Atlanta, Ontario & London.
